“We are thrilled to have Music City Bowl Alum and Titans CB, Roger McCreary join our initiative in supporting and uplifting youth football,” said Scott Ramsey, President and CEO of the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. “McCreary’s dedication to giving back to his community partners perfectly with the Bowl’s ongoing support of the value of the region’s Youth Football Program.”

Roger McCreary, a cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 35th overall pick. A standout at Auburn University, McCreary earned All-American honors in 2021 and was a Bednarik Award semifinalist. His college career saw him become a key player in Auburn’s defense, including participation in the 2018 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, where Auburn secured a 63-14 win over Purdue. Since joining the Titans, he has become a crucial presence in the team's defensive backfield, appearing in 32 games with 28 starts. During that time, he has recorded a team-leading 170 tackles, along with two interceptions, two sacks, and 14 passes defended. Known for always being around the ball, his aggressive style and work ethic make him a standout as McCreary is entering his third year in the NFL as a crucial part of the Titan’s defense.

“It’s an amazing honor to serve as the TransPerfect Music City Bowl’s Youth Football Ambassador,” McCreary said. “Youth football played a pivotal role in my life and taught me important lessons, including discipline and teamwork. I’m looking forward to interacting with the programs in our community and making an impact in the lives of these young athletes.”

Throughout the year, local youth leagues will receive thousands of dollars in donations to help with equipment, uniforms, facility maintenance, officiating costs, and new program implementation. In addition, leagues will receive an official bowl helmet sticker, free tickets for coaches and players from championship teams, and mouthguards provided by long-time supporter Delta Dental of Tennessee.

“Since 2009, Delta Dental of Tennessee has proudly partnered with the TransPerfect Music City Bowl, providing mouthguards to help protect the smiles of aspiring athletes across Tennessee,” said Jeff Ballard, President and CEO of Delta Dental of Tennessee. “I was pleased to learn Roger McCreary will serve as the Youth Football Program ambassador this year. He embodies the qualities of an outstanding leader and is perfectly fit to serve as a role model for the YFP athletes.”
