NASHVILLE, Tenn., (Nov. 5, 2009) – Representatives of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl have announced its partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has been extended through the 2013 college football season.


“We are pleased to secure another four years with the ACC.  Nashville is a great destination for the ACC teams and fans as evidenced by the thousands of fans who have traveled to Music City in the past few years,” said Scott Ramsey, President and CEO of the Bowl. 


The ACC have played in the Bowl since 2006.  The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl will select fifth after the BCS selection for years 2010-2013.  The Bowl will continue to be broadcast on ESPN through 2014. 

“The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl has been an excellent partner and we look forward to continuing our relationship,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “Nashville is a terrific destination for our teams and fans, and it’s a great opportunity to match-up with an SEC opponent.”

The 2009 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl kicks off in primetime on Sunday, Dec. 27 at 7:30 p.m. CST at LP Field.  Bowl tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster online at or at any Ticketmaster location.  For corporate ticket packages which include tickets, hospitality and exposure benefits call the Bowl office.
