The Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl World Hot Chicken Eating Championship and Battle of the Bands

Out looking for things to do before your favorite team kicks off on Monday in the 16th Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl? You are in luck! Sunday is dedicated solely to you, the fans. Whether you want to spend your morning sleeping in, sight-seeing on Broadway or taking in some of Nashville’s historic sites, be sure to leave your afternoon and evening open for a non-stop party.

The first stop is coming to see amateurs and professionals compete in The Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl World Hot Chicken Eating Championship. The hot chicken eating will commence at 4 pm and all the fiery sights can be witnessed in person at 1st Avenue and Broadway.

Now that you’ve seen our world-famous championship; what now? Be sure to keep the party going by heading up the street for some fantastic music; it is Music City after all!

The non-stop party continues with Nashville’s own block party on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Broadway. Attending MusicFest and Battle of the Bands is the best way to get the party started the night before the big game. The band 38 SPECIAL will be taking the stage at 5 pm to kick off the party! The music continues with both Ole Miss’ and Georgia Tech’s marching bands and cheerleaders battling it out for bragging rights.
